Clich'e December 31st Post

I've been too far out of the loop for all the happenings of 2009 so here is a list of the best things I experienced this past year.

Best car found online this year: In the year that hella flush really took off in America I cheer for the anti-hero 4x4 Status STi

Best pin-up found online this year: Tania Simon. That look, that blouse, that angle, sitting in that interior. Geeze...

Best counter-productive use of time: A mortar-free night under the stars burning sensitive information

Best five songs to listen to with good noise-canceling headphones on while laying on your back on a cool concrete floor in a pitch black room when it's 120+ degrees outside:

1. The Myspace Transmissions version of "Flume" by Bon Iver

2. The second half of "Meet Me In Montauk" by Circa Survive

3. "Empty Bank" by Miles Davis and John Lee Hooker and not because it's ironic.

4. The Howie B remix of "All Is Full of Love" by Bjork

5. "Sea Lion" by Sage Francis

And lastly, my resolution for the new year: I will post more often.

There you have it folks, the sum of my existance as a man; cars, women, escapes, music, and empty promises. I'll leave you with a wish. Please be kind to one another. We live in an ugly world and the only source of beauty worth a damn is love. Think outward instead of inward and help save humanity.
