Bleh.

The feeling of brilliant lethargy, not of listlessness but languor, only seems to come when it's accompanied by the unwell, and today it's in the form of a head cold. There is no better time to take a multiple hour nap in the early evening hours to conjure the will to be productive, to work on a story with a friend, to think with the clearest of minds while medicated. Pulling inspiration from Ralph Steadman and Hunter Thompson helps, especially when convention is aiding illness in keeping you down.

"The edge, there is no honest way to explain it, because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over. The others, the living, are those who pushed their control as far as they felt they could handle it and then pulled back or slowed down. But the edge is still out there."
