Ansel Adams' Wilderness

Earlier this summer I went to the Nevada Museum of Art for a traveling exhibit of Egyptian artifacts. It was incredibly cool to see the preserved possessions and caskets from tombs of a different era. While there I stumbled upon an Ansel Adams collection that I enjoyed equally as much, partially because he was one of the first photographers I learned about in school and appreciated. Oddly enough he died the year I was born, but that's beside the point.

A few weeks ago the girlfriend and I went camping at Mammoth Lakes for a break from society. One of our hikes lead us in to Ansel Adams' Wilderness; his old stomping grounds which are now apart of the Sierra National Forests.

Here are my photos that were inspired by Mr. Adams.

I'll post more picture from my trip over the next few days.
