"Conveniently religious on Easter Sunday and on Christmas. The television went from being a babysitter to a mistress. Technology made it easy for us to stay in touch while keeping a distance, ’til we just stayed distant and never touched. Now all we do is text too much."

The weather has turned and none of us are complaining. Existing longer outside than in has caused my skin to adjust along a scale of pink. Hip-Hop in my ears, The Bullet under my feet, and the destination is not always that.

The thoughts from fleeting sleep are no longer clawing at a fading dream but the day's possible reality. What will the Summer hold? The lake, drink, the mountains, smoke, Burning Man, letting go, Rallyx, and breathing easy.

Hibernation is over and Koemi is hungry. I'll see you outside.
